Year-end shopping spree

I think everyone agrees that the days leading up to Christmas have always been a drag when it comes to dealing with the jams at the checkout counters. Even the roads are so busy at the city centre. So normally we would avoid going to KK city centre during the day. Fortunately there are malls to go to away from the centre that are normally not crowded on the roads.
At the bigger departmental stores, I think the person who invented the idea to use barcode scanner in the checkout counter is a person who have experienced the jam when checking out. But nowadays even a barcode scanner is not enough. I believe the best tech to use is RFID. All you need to do is to pass through a special gate with your shopping card and the POS counter gives you the total amount you need to pay.
