Weekend Scare
January 20th, 2010 Posted in Family, GeneralLast weekend we had a slight scare when our son got a slight injury from playing at 1Borneo’s air playground. On his way down at one of the air slides somehow he got his right arm twisted. He was crying out loud after he landed at the bottom of the slide. We were concerned that he broke his arm but to our initial relief his bones remained intact. However just to be sure, we brought him to the clinic and got his arm x-rayed.
The doctor said that he just had some slight soft tissue damage and will recover after a few days. As a precaution, the doctor only prescribed some medication for joint pain relief as the pain mainly localized around the elbow area.

that must be a huge relief – reminds me to blog about about my son’s coin-swallowing episode.

yes huge relief. I can imagine the grief the parent(s) must if something bad happens to their child like what recently published in The Star.
