There is only one God
December 31st, 2009 Posted in Personal ThoughtsI may have to thread carefully with this entry. Anyways it was announced today that the High Court has ruled a Catholic weekly publication, Herald to freely use an Arabic term for God. The ruling in effect allows all other parties also to free use of the term which Christians and Muslims all over the world synonymously to mean God. With this ruling Christians in this country will no longer regard the term as “taboo” or to regard it as an allergent and quickly go search for an allergy relief.
I remembered one of my uncles who is a Muslim convert said all these terms mean the same thing to Christians and Muslims alike so there’s no reason for being confused. As a Christian myself, what matters most is that we worship one God.
