Quality Issue – floor tiles
November 4th, 2009 Posted in PropertyIf you have been to 1Borneo you will know what I mean except that at 1Borneo the tiles looks to be of good quality but the workmanship is crap. We are also experiencing some floor tile issue at our government quarters that is less than a decade old. Only now that the tiles are starting to come off.
The two pictures above are taken from two floors above our apartment. The contractor who constructed this building did a bad job in fixing the floor tiles. These were taken by my wife who has been given the responsibility of reporting damages for her school. Just months after this, we noticed our apartment is also showing similar defects. Fortunately we are only occupying and do not own the place…so we took off those tiles and just stuff the void with newspaper as paddings then covered the affected area with a large rug.
