Book Fest at KL Convention Centre

As a book lover, I’ve always wanted to attend the annual KL Book Fair. The closes thing I’ve experience is the Malaysian Book Fest held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, recently. Actually it is still on till 12 September. It’s been touted as the largest book fest in Southeast Asia. There many books there mainly English and Chinese. There are also stationeries, movies in CD, DVD and blu ray formats. For those interested in learning aids for kids, there are booths selling all kinds of learning toys. We managed to buy the Lepao learning blocks for our son. In the end I think we have invested to at least 15kg heavy worth of reading and learning stuff. Luckily we were using MAS which allows us 20kg of checkin baggage.

So, today’s date is 10.9.2011. If I were to go tomorrow, it would still be going on?

Yes, it runs till the 12th of September. The official stop date was the 4th but that’s inaccurate.
