Air Dance
October 27th, 2008 Posted in General, Nature, Photography, Sabah, bizzareYes that’s exactly what it is. Dancing on Air. My siblings and I were on our way back from Kota Belud’s Tamu Besar last Sunday. On the way we saw a tractor ploughing a paddy field. There were many white egrets waiting for food opportunities from the churned wet ground of the paddy field. Then I spotted a couple of egrets doing somewhat an air dance. It looks as if they were dancing or just a playful act of rivalry. Anways..here are the cropped pictures I took.

great pictures! i never see egret doing thing like this. i love the 3rd photo, really like dancing in the air.

I’ve always wanted to take those birds while the tractor is ploughing the fields…only this time I got the chance. Fortunately I had by zoom lens on. btw..every morning on my way to work I see a couple of guys doing digiscoping on these birds along the Penampang bypass.
