A Submarine that Can’t dive

Less than 5 months ago when our country received its first delivery of a submarine, I was excited.  Finally we had an opportunity to defend our sovereignity from under the sea.  Just by looking at the Scorpene class sub, makes you proud.  However all of these feelings were dashed as it was published in the local daily that our first and only operational submarine, cannot dive due to some faults.  Less than 5 months and already defective.  So what is the use of having a submarine that cannot dive. Perhaps just for show.  It’s just like getting Santa Cruz foreclosures after less than 5 months buying a property.  The problem didn’t occur just recently but three months ago but was only detected last month!!  Which means after only less than 2 months of operation, the sub is kaput!!

I’m sure they will be happy to spend more time at the surface now…..
